The glowing comments about Lint's friendly staff has not been confirmed, but, rather, countered with several yarn friends of mine. Their experience found the Lint staff unfriendly, cold, and of little help.

Yes, I found the staff to be unhelpful and cold. I went there because I had a gift certificate and that was the last time I went. It was a bit daunting.

I agree about the staff being unfriendly and unattentive. It's unfortunate because they have cool yarn and other neat items but I tend to choose other stores over them.

So sad you think so... They're closing/closed anyway so you won't ever be bothered again...

I really liked this store's decor and awesome jewelry. I like young hip stores that have style and this one did. I think the other reviewers are just jealous and trying to knock it. When i visited it, I was an out of towner and they weren't that friendly or helpful, but I just thought it was the usual racist portland standoffishness fake liberals bs and continued to enjoy the nice books and surroundings. Who knows what the deal was, but i liked that store.
