This is growing to be my favorite neighborhood place. It's small, with a covered patio that doubles the floor space when the weather is nice. They have 12 taps, currently pouring a cider, a couple Europeans, and some solid craftbrews. They also have a small collection of bottled and canned beers. There's a nice jukebox on hand, as well as darts and a pool table, and, my friends: WiFi. Smokers will probably rejoice smoking at the bar, and I rejoice that I don't come home smelling like it. The menu is trying to serve the whole neighborhood, with vegan to vegetarian to hamburgers made with local groovy beef. They are still shaking out the details: french fries are now handcut skinny fries. At this point it's definitely pubgrub, and they are so close to getting it right—but usually one crucial detail has been forgotten. Example: last night's fish & chips were great, and the falafel would have been if the pita had been toasted or otherwise warmed. They're hoping to be pouring their own beer in the new year.
