North Portland is a great place for artists to live and work. The North Portland peninsula consists of many charming historical neighborhoods with a fairly low cost of living and just enough quirky stuff around to keep the locals from getting bored. It is also the little-known "5th Quadrant" of Portland, so you sound extra mysterious when you tell people where you live!
