Two-wheeled culture-friendly brewpub in the offing
Laurelwood brewmaster Christian Ettinger is opening his own place in the former Sunset Fuel Co. building at 2944 S.E. Powell Blvd. He plans on catering to Portland's two-wheeled culture -- bicyclists, scooterists and motorcyclists are all welcome.

I'm all for new brewpubs and especially ones that are relatively close to me (I live in the Brooklyn neighborhood). But that location is not exactly bike friendly. That is a crazy section of Powell.
Oh, Powell sucks, for sure. But with the light at 28th, it shouldn't be bad for cyclists to get across the street.
I guess I'm not so much excited about the location (cuz it's nowhere near me) but I am excited about the commonalities between bicycles, scooters and motorcycles being celebrated.
